We had the opportunity to shoot an Ocean City beach wedding on Friday night. The couple, Kristi and Chris, charming and sweet. They didn't let the high winds stop them. The ceremony was gorgeous and invigorating, and the photographer, Faith West, set up the most beautiful shots of the bride and groom at the dock behind the Ocean City Yacht Club. The sun was setting over the bay. It was stunning!

Martha Mayer Erlebacher
Imagine being able to watch a video of Norman Rockwell creating a painting from start to finish? Kevin went to the studio of Martha Mayer Erlebacher at the request of Diane Fraser, friend and fellow artist, to video her technique. Erlebacher is a renowned realist painter in the tradition of Renaissance and Baroque artists. She has had an extensive teaching career in some of Philadelphia's and New York City's premier art schools, and as a leading American Realist painter, she has shown extensively in many principle galleries in NYC, Chicago, and Philadelphia throughout the past four decades. Here is web version of the high definition video we shot for them.

Phoenixville Country Club Video
The Phoenixville Country Club is a great place for a wedding. We made this promotional video recently for their website. Besides being one of the most beautiful settings to have your wedding in Chester County, the bookings are handled by the nicest person in the wedding and event industry, Dawn Gannon.

Why Italian Switzerland?

Did you know that in certain Alpine valleys populations live which are Italian by culture and Swiss by nationality? We didn't either until we videoed an international conference at the University of Pennsylvania entitled "Why Italian Switzerland?" In addition to videoing all the
sessions we also took photos of the dignitaries and scholars.

There were two translators in a booth at the back doing simultaneous interpreting from Italian into English and vise versa. Attendees wore radio headsets like they do at the U.N. to hear the translation live.

Senator Filippo Lombardi, a member of the Upper House of the Federal Swiss Parliament, was an engaging speaker.
Professor Mario Botta is a world-renown architect. His Powerpoint presentation was very interesting. Botta studied under famed architect Louis Kahn at Penn. At a lunch break he

and his wife sat next to us, and I thought they were very down to earth and friendly.
By the conference's end I thought that I would really like to go see Switzerland, and especially Italian Switzerland, where I now have friends.

HD video
We are in full stride shooting and editing in HD. All of our 2008 clients are having their events shot in high definition. They'll get standard definition DVDs at first and when Apple comes out with computers with Blu-ray burners built in, we'll be delivering on Blu-ray discs.

Our HD footage is amazing. We are using cameras with larger chips than those that were in our SD cameras, so in addition to being widescreen, the footage looks like film. It's beautiful! I love using these cameras. They are a little bulkier and they have more functions to master, but the images are stunning.
